I had such a fun time going through Bar's gallery as the featured stamper today. Congrats Bar. Bar's gallery is full of beautiful creations. I noticed she is super good at matching colors/papers and coordinating them with paper pieced images. So, I thought I would try one out for my first Easter card of this year.
I used the same dsp, but different papers from it which changed my card into an almost amethyst, so saffron and pretty in pink color combo.
I used this cute little bunny stamp I had on hand, stamped it twice on polka dot so saffron and pretty in pink polka dot paper, then cut out and placed on top of 2 panels of nesties. The 1st vanilla panel was run through with the Swiss Dots ef. I thought it would go good with all the polka dots going on. I popped up both bunnies side by side on top of the mat and added a little butterfly with lavender pearls.
I just happened to have a polka dot ribbon in the exact color to match the papers and I finally used some sequins I've been dying to use that sf9erfan sent me ~thanks Michelle~! They were so much fun to use because you can place your pearls or rhinestones right in the centers. That makes my day. I used yellow pearls given to me in a RAK by Wattle ~thanks Kathy~! I can never get enough pearls for my collection.
I ran my greeting panel through the Swiss Dots ef. Popped up the first main panel, the nestie panel and the bunnies on dimensionals. I rounded my corners at the bottom of the card instead of on the sides like Bar did since my card is opening up differently than hers.
Thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to look and CONGRATS again to Bar. ENJOY your week!!

This is beautiful, Pam!! I love the colors and papers you chose. I especially like those paper pieced bunnies stamped on the pastel polka dotted paper!! Beautiful embellishments, too. What a great first in your (what I'm sure will be a long) line of Easter cards to come!! I'm looking forward to all kinds of great eye candy
