Hi! This is the card I made for today's ways to use it challenge: collage fun! I chose to make a Christmas collage, since I'm want Christmas this year to be less hectic and more meaningful. And who knows what the future will bring?
I made the collage using SU! and Inkadinkado Christmas stamps. It took several tries, but I finally got the effect I was going for. Simple and clean with splashes of color. Everytime I have made a collage image before (on my own; not using a premade one) they have ended up cluttered and junky looking. So this ended up being a real challenge for me! Thanks so much!!
I stamped Santa and the stocking and then masked both of them; I stamped Merry Christmas next to Santa. Then I stamped a snowflake and then a holly swirl each 3 times, stamping off before stamping each time. Next, I stamped a north pole post. I added the snowflake brads and some diamond stickles for sparkle and texture. Finally I used my color spitzer tool to add a hint of color (well, I tried to add a hint; sometimes the spray just gets carried away like it did on the post part! LOL) all over.
TFL and have a terrific day!
