Collage! Very difficult for me, but the results, when I finally get it done, are worth the struggle.
This is for Ways to Use It Challenge 256, to create a collage. This piece measures 5 1/2 by 8 1/2. The bottom layer is a piece of shirt cardboard upon which I mounted a photograph of delphiniums I grew from seed in my garden about 3 years ago. Raised about 1/4 inch above it is the collage, with distressed and torn bits of CS, (through the looking glass!), snippets of computer generated French Script, swiped with ink spots. I've cut and torn photos from magazines, and added tiny tiles of stamped polymer clay, leftover from a jewelry project, highlighted with Stickles. Finally, a few rhinestones and bits of Fancy Fibers finish off the piece. Hard to see see the depth in the photo; looks so much better IRL. So it goes!
My back is killing me, but I've got a sense of accomplishment! I think I'll get this framed, to remind me of the beautiful garden I once had.
Thanks for looking; I hope you like it!
Hugggs!

Lovely!! I love that you started with a photo of flowers you grew yourself. The fiber you used gives a great sense of motion to your fabulous creation. What a wonderful collage--nice work

Maddy, delphiniums are one of my favorite flowers, but alas in our very damp climate, the gastropods love them TOO much. I like the depth you created with your collage, I could just fall into your garden and the blue fiber is the perfect representation for those stately flowers. wonderfully done!
