How did you attach the dowels to the pegboard to hang your punches?

Home Depot in our area has special hooks in packets of various sizes made just for peg boards. I bought a large packet of "Locking Peg Hook Assortment" for $ 20.00 I believe the price was. It has 47 pieces in the packet that fits pegbords of 1/8" or 1/4" thickness. The brand is Everbilt in case you are looking for those. We have Lowe's and Home Depot here. You might have something different there.
I used the pegboard for my ribbons first, then stamp sets, scisors, until I decided to use it for punches.
All are kept in the same area where the pegboards are and there is a large collection of other items that can be used for a craftroom. I like things being visible. :o)
Good luck
