Betty's color challenge today was to use: Basic Grey, Bravo Burgandy, Crushed Curry, neutrals of white, ivory or kraft. The "dessert" was "text".
I used substitute colors. I masked the goldfinch before stamping the text in the oval. Sometimes you have a DP that is great except that it needs one color you must use. Copics to the rescue!! I colored the ivory stripes in the DP with a curry-colored pen. I also used a neutral Copic to tone down the white of the saddle-stitching on the ribbon. Voila!
