Hello everyone - this card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/
and we love that don't we! I always look forward to Priscilla's sketches but have to say that I just LOVE this one. When I first saw the heart I though 'okay - this is going to be interesting.' I started by drawing a heart and cutting it out as a template and was happy with it, but once I added the white heart behind it, it seemed to 'come to life!'
I have used this adorable digi image from our weekly sponsor Faith Skrdla from Designed2Delight Digi Stamp Shop: http://designed2delightdigishop.blogspot.com
I knew I would love using this darling little boy as soon as I saw the digi - but how adorable is he now that he is coloured....I just love that little hand in his pocket - awww, so adorable!! I coloured him with SU Chalks and a Blender Pen, then cut him out and popped him up on foam dots.
The butterfly net and flowers have also been cut out and popped up on foam dots. I have used a silver glitter pen around the edges of the net and added Kindy Glitz to the wings of the butterfly! I think this is one of my favourite MMSC cards!

Sister, this is completely precious! I love your distressed heart (and don't boys do that anyway?) Your papers are so perfectly suited for this image. Another *wonderful* piece of work! Love it, and you! Hugs...

Oh, Linda, I know what you mean, this is so, so wonderful in so, so many ways. It's "Linda-errific"!! See, I can make up words too. Maybe, vintage-istic too!!! LOVE what you did with the heart. You're right, that white layer beneath did seem to bring it to life. Don't you love when a card comes to life, especially one that seems to be going nowhere and all of a sudden, it turns into something great like this one of yours? You always do fab jobs on all your creations Linda. Just adorable image, coloring and great sponging, distressing and papers. A real winner my friend, but then it's hard not to come up with a winner using Priscilla's sketches, isn't it? The MM are my fav sketch challenges and you're the one that got me hooked on them!! TFS and I'll finish up your gallery tomorrow. I have to go beddie bye and I want to spend time with all your recent uploads as they are SO GORGEOUS!! I'll be back . . . . Hugs
