I went crazy with the requirement for this VSN: lots of snow. I don't have flower soft, so I ended up grating paper to create the snow. In the process, I also created the "snow banks".....when you shred the paper with the cutting tool, snow banks form fairly naturally, and so I threw them in. Then, I added the frosted white paint to the whole pile.
The stamp (Home for Christmas) was watercoloured, and then the snow added.
Finally, I also added other snow all over the place: simple snowflake background (white on navy), snowflake eyelets, snowflake felt, and even a stamped snowflake on a white brad (with the silver shimmer paint). That worked really well!
Hope you enjoy!

Wow! I am enjoying this big time! I will have to revisit this faux snow technique you used. It worked beautiful. The textures are awesome. What a fun scene with the sled and skis.
