I'm in LOVE with SU's new Vintage Vogue set and decided to make a few cards with it. Here's my card for last week's Sketch Challenge. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I started with a Not Quite Navy card base, sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink and spritzed it with my Not Quite Navy marker. I then grabbed my Bella Bleu dsp, sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink and layered the dsp on Kraft cs, which was also sponged with Soft Suede ink. For the main Very Vanilla panel, I stamped the vine with Soft Suede ink, the small flowr with Not Quite Navy ink and the large flower with a Not Quite Navy/Soft Suede combo (Rock & Roll Technique Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers. I layered this panel on Not Quite Navy and Kraft - once again, all edges were sponged with Soft Suede. I threaded some beads from the Pretties Kit onto Kraft Taffeta Ribbon, wrapped up the main panel with a bow and adhered it to the card.
This card is going to a special co-worker who's husband died a year ago tomorrow. I just want her to know that I'm thinking of her. TFL - Regina
