Yahoooooooo! ItÂ’s Tuesday which means weÂ’re off and runninÂ’ to da MuddermarkÂ’s tea party at Teapot Tuesday. This week a dragon called Derek is flyinÂ’ us on his wings to RapunzelÂ’s castle.
You can git the full story from da Muddermark here in the Teapot Tuesday forum so ya can foller along with the story.
Long story short: bring some juicy gossip to RapunzelÂ’s new hair cuttinÂ’ parler called Classy Castle Cuts to help spur on her new bizness. Even her hunk-a-burninÂ’ love, Prince Rahier, is gittinÂ’ in on the goinÂ’s on to hep out.
The juicy gossip IÂ’m bringinÂ’ to this shindig is the fact that Gertie (aka da Muddermark) is quite a klutz. Even though Rapunzel is her good friend, word on the street is that Gertie is sick and tired of RapunzelÂ’s hair dragginÂ’ all over the place makinÂ’ her always trip and fall. I tends to think Gertie is jes jealous of RapunzelÂ’s long, golden, plaited hair. I gotÂ’s it on good account that Gertie is hidinÂ’ a pair of shears in her jacket with full intent of cutting RapunzelÂ’s hair. Well, if she does that, poor Raphier ainÂ’t gots no way to climb up RapunzelÂ’s castle wall. Therefore, I, Bertie, hatinÂ’ to see lovers thwarted in their attempts to be together, grew this purty foliage along RapunzelÂ’s castle wall so that Raphier kin make his way to her should Gertie be successful in her hair cuttinÂ’ attempt.
Oh, and another tidbit of gossip, I heard that jaydekay has been scrapinÂ’ the pond scum from the moat will full intent of addinÂ’ the scum to todayÂ’s tea, claiminÂ’ it has powerful anti-oxidants fer makinÂ’ us all healthyÂ….sumpinÂ’ called steamy tea-grogÂ…..right. I, Bertie, ainÂ’t no fool. IffinÂ’ she tries to git me to drink that stuff, IÂ’m flinginÂ’ it.
I shore hope ya'll consider comin' along to the tea party today!
Iffin' yer wantin' the details on how I made this hare card:
1. stamped foliage in versamark onto glossy cardstock
2. heat embossed with clear embossing powder
3. sponged inks
4. stamped words
5. stamped another foliage onto whisper white with certainly celery, old olive, barely banana; fussy cut and popped up on dimensionals
6. used brick wall technique from last week's technique challenge. Not sure I did it right, but had fun tryin'!!!

Stinkin' Bertie! Charlene, have you seen Bertie? I came looking for her cuz she told on me! I'll fix her wagon, gonna call the boys, The Grinder and Alatte' Pain! A machete will work nicely on that foilage you done brought to the teaparty! And they have no feelings doing the deed even if its beautiful!

Rut Roh! Now you dunnit Bertie! I have been hiding the instructions on how to sign up at SCS from Gertie for about two years and you tattling on her gave her new motivation to get more involved! We need a Teapot Tuesday Tattle Taker so I can report this! Maybe SnoSnot is still available!
Oh M!G! I think card is about the most drop dead gorgeous vine climbing up thingy on the face of the earth. I hope that your plan works...partly because Rahier is really in love, but mostly cuz I really hate to think of cleaning up after Bertie gets to flingin'! Snort!
I love this card and the creativity of it.
Whisper: Don't be antagonizing Gertie! You remember, I am Da Mudder, thanks to YOU!

OMGosh, Charlene! This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the rich green foliage and the stunning bow! Your story had me cracking up out loud! We are going to have to see how this all turns out! I hope Rapunzel makes it through the day with all her lovely locks! And silly me, I didn't think to be skeptical of Judy's grog! Who knew it was pond scum! Glad I didn't drink any yet!
