Created to participate in smARTworks January 2010 smART-Word Challenge - "ice". I love the image of the little girl trudging determinedly through the snow and ice! The word stamp was re-created by cutting up the original word stamp from the same set (WD-187 Snowy Paths) and rearranging the first two lines only so they fit inside the circle. The main image was stamped with VersaMark and embossed with SNS Detail Black ep. I painted the sky using LuminArrte' Tahitian Blue Twinkling H2O, and the scarf and gloves using Pearl Ex-Press Watercolor Pallette Super Russet. The snowy hillside, the tree and the white of the girl's hat and coat were brushed with glue, sprinkled with SNS Sparkling Snow glitter and allowed to dry. (They are VERY sparkly which isn't shown in the scan.) The light blue panel behind the main image was run through my (beloved) Cuttlebug inside the Swiss Dots embossing folder, and tied around with some glittery narrow white ribbon from my stash. The DP is from Basic Grey's eskimo kisses paper pad. The circles were cut and embossed in my CB using Nestibilities circle and scalloped circle dies, and popped up on dimensional tape. The red CS is from Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock.
