I made this card for a couple of challenges: the Viva la Verve sketch challenge (week 4) - I chose the flower pins as my inspiration - and the Passion for Papertrey challenge to use embossing.
I used the colours of the pins for my inspiration as well as the general floral theme. The patterned paper is actually created with PTI's Guide Lines II stamp set - sooo much fun to play with!! I finally got my hands on some PTI goodies recently so was itching to play! The guide lines were stamped on Kraft in River Rock then stamped the two motifs inbetween with Not Quite Navy and Ruby Red. I used a little frame from the same set to stamp in Versamark around the red flowers then embossed in clear EP. I added a bunch of tiny pearls to the centres of the motifs and flowers.
