I had to try and get in a case of JDMommy before the next FS was announced. I love her work and, as usual, could have cased a million of her cards (or at least 42,000 as MotherMark would say). I picked this card:
I changed the image, colors, them, and the layout to some degree. I also added some paper piercing and sponging. I saw a card made with this Natural Beauty leaf go through the gallery this week and I decided to try using just the simple image on a card myself. I had to make it a Thank-you card because I have 10 more to get caught up.
I so love the FS challenge and JDMommy has a well-deserving gallery!

Nancy, I love these rich colors together and that wonderful single leaf! Your border punch is gorgeous! Man, you've been busy! How cool is that? LYMI

What a fabulous case of Anne's card! I love the pretty borders, and the leaf stamp is really elegant. In fact, your card has inspired me, as I have some of those leaves stamped that you gave me - so I'm going to make a card with them today!

Oh, Nancy, I must have missed this one when you uploaded. I have really come to love the "experience" of your cards. They are so down to earth and organic. Truly beautiful. Your leaf here, in and of itself, speaks volumes to me. I LOVE your borders, sponging, paper piercing and ribbon treatment too. WOW, wonderful!! TFS!!

Wound up here by way of a link from ApricotRose's gallery and I'm delighted by what I've found! What a great card - love all those punched edges, the piercing and the sponging... Beautiful!
