This was not a great week for me - I was so lazy that I didn't even do the Teapot Tuesday challenge until today (5 days late). The sad thing is that it is one of the best challenges of all time this week - Breakfast at Tiffany's! The challenged allowed us do all the baubles, diamonds, glitter, embellishments, and fancy stuff we wanted to do. The cards in the gallery are so pretty and awesome (some are super funny). I decided to do a pretty card but poke some fun at how much women do to make themselves look like they could breakfast at Tiffanys. I admit, I am one of the worst - I won't even go next door to my Mom's without a little make-up on. I see there are a lot of Rubber Romance images in the MMTPT gallery this week - they are so perfect for any challenge involving glamor.
This is my first Tri-shutter card, and I had a tough time with the measuring - but I can tell that a little practice will help a lot. I will be trying it again soon because it was super fun. I wanted to use the Inspiration site for today - Echo. None of my supplies matched very well with the designs on those lovely scarves, handbags, hats, bedding, and other beautiful stuff. I decided to go with the handbag theme and add a little of this scarf:

This is terrific. I have never made one of these before. This is perfect for the tea party.. I have not made mine either.. I just can't find a good idea. I loved the tea pot but everything I tried went in the trash.. Great job on this one.. Love the sentiment and dp.

Absolutely darling card. Haven't tried the tri-shutter yet, but hope to. Perfect sentiment for this challenge of Tiffany's!
