It's been a while since I've been able to do a sketch challenge and today's looked pretty easy to work with. I'm using a set called Baptism/Confirmation Verses from Our Daily Bread designsJanuary release.
For the center panel, I stamped the verse first using the poppy ink, then lined it up and overstamped it using the charcoal chalk ink. I cut it using a Spellbinders long rectangle Nestie that I resized to make it slightly shorter. For the dk coral punched panel, I measured then lined up the punch to repeatedly punch the decorative squares and make a lacy background.
Rather than make 3 separate panels, I cut two dk coral strips and attached them on top of the dp to simulate panels. I added two narrow dp strips on top. The ribbon was white so I used lt gray and coral markers to make it coordinate w/ my colors.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Fantastic take on the sketch! And the punched background is just great! Love the ODBD sentiment...
