I have to say that Breakfast at Tiffany's is my least favourite Hepburn film - I like Charade, Roman Holiday, How to Steal A Million, Love in the Afternoon, the fabulous costumes in Two for the Road, and of course My Fair Lady. Oh - and how could I forget Sabrina . Still, how could I pass up on Breakfast at Tiffany's - Teaparty Style.
I'm not good on pampering things, I've added all my luxury to a card inspired by that fantastic fun teapot.
Darn it if I wasn't right out of the leopard print paper I thought would have worked well, so Audrey's cat obliged by stepping in the ink and walking all over some Basic Grey paper for my background. Along with Audrey, it's layered on some turquoise Bazzill. I stamped Audrey (Sophia) on white card with black ink, masked her and stamped some music in the background. Let's make believe it's Moon River, as I promised DH would come along and serenade us with it this week. Sponged the background, then removed the mask and touched Audrey up with H2Os. No lovely black velvet ribbon except this ric-rac, so I made do with it, and added some ultra-luxurious Doodlebug bling. I also gave Audrey blue diamond earrings and necklace. Take note, store detectives, she walked in with these and aims to walk out with them too.
I added some Prima flowers and leaves, but had to leave the butterfly for the inside, as it was a bit de trop on the front.
See you all soon - the postman never left a note for a package last week, and if I don't collect it from the post office today it will be returned to sender, and DH has the car so I'll have to walk...

Sabrina! This Rubber Romance image is perfect for Audrey, that hat looks just like the one she wears to visit Sally Tomato. Your velvety black rick rack is gorgeous! Ok, I am going to remain quiet now so I can hear your DH's serenade, Oh what a treat!

Okay, who's the wise-guy that put that teapot on Audrey's head? And I don't care if they did it cuz they were trying to cover up her bee hive dooooo!!
Oh Hi Sabrina and its nice to meet you Mr. Cook22! I am so glad you came along this week as my pm box is full of messages from teapotters wondering if Moon River is part of our party. They will be thrilled, THRILLED I tell ya! Okay, lemme go tell them to quit their carrying on so we can hear ya!
What an absolute perfect image for this tea party! And how creative to get Audrey's cat on your card without getting Audrey's cat on your card! And to bring your extra-luxurious doodle bug bling, who'd a thunk! Whisper! Its better than the 42,000 baubbles they inventoried!!
