What a fun challenge today, using birds on our cards. I might have gotten carried away a little.......details.....
I did a rough sketch of my scene this morning, took it with me so I could tweak it as the day went on. Got home and put my scene to cs using Rubbernecker Stamps.
I first stamped the close line clear eb'ing. Put some frisket on one of the post, then stamped the neighbor hood, twice clear ep it too.
Used my stamp a ma jig to stamp the birdies on the line, clear ep. Houses, birdies, post were colored with copic markers.
The grass was w/c with re-inkers, the clouds were sponged using a stencil I made awhile back and the ground was sponged dabbing with a wet brush after. Set this aside to go find some black cs.
When I returned, one of the birdies had gotten into my shredder and took some of the shredded paper and made a nest on my card! Go figure. So, after layering my scene with the now found black cs, I put it on a brown square card then popped up the nest making bird. hehe
Well hope you like my little birdie scene......TFL :0)

Well just look at y'all get down to business with this one! And now I see you've got bird making nests in your backyard? Okay, whatever. This card is really interesting with that RN image. I oculd never have brought it to life the way you have. Great work here, russian spy!~

Aw, robins. Got to one of my favourite birds at the moment, thanks to our fearless little one who hangs out in the back. Can you believe that sometimes I can so close that I am too close for my camera to focus!! DH laughs at the amount of photos I have of him, but even when he was a little bitty fledgling he was pretty unafraid. Love that little one nesting in the shredded paper, too .
