Hi everyone
as part of my ongoing commitment to my 2010 resolutions... i decided to use a stamp set I rarely use for the CAS49 challenge - fifth avenue floral.
I stamped the image on water color paper and used my bordering blue classic ink and marker to give a soft subtle blue to the image. I colored the image darker in the middle because there always seems to be a concentration of color there.
I then used my iridescent ice embossing powder to give some shimmer to the flower.
I stamped the flower again using Basic Grey on Bordering Blue to act as my matt and stamped the sentiment in Basic Grey. I separated the two parts of the card with Basic Grey Satin ribbon and used stampin dimensionals to lift the flower.
I'm sorry the pic doesn't come across better, but for some reason I seem to be getting overexposed pics at the moment and therefore the subtle colors and shimmer on the flower aren't showing as well.
thanks for looking and you can find more detail ifyou want it on my blog at this link http://www.jaydeestamping.com/weblog...thank-you.html
