The Inspiration Challenge this week is another feast for the eyes! Of the many gorgeous items, I chose this print for my inspiration piece.
It took me many tries to get the effect I wanted, but finally came up with this combination. I stamped the background image with Rich Razzleberry ink on Real Red cardstock, ran it thru a CuttleBug folder, then applied the shimmer paint directly to the embossed areas with a small paintbrush.
I like the contrast between the red plaid flannel, the shimmer and the bling of the rhinestones and ribbon. Kinda like the cowboy meets his fairy princess.
Thanks for looking.
