Yeah, I managed two challenges in one this week...and that's a good thing, these days! Thank you for the wonderful SC, Carolina and for giving our beloved sketch hostess a rest! And to Wendybell for being our girl Friday~~~ on the spot!
As soon as I read Wendy's challenge, I knew exactly which stamps I would bring out for my card. I simply adore Cameron Koch's way of looking at love for when I look at my DH my eyes go all dithery (is that a word???). And Tim Coffey's K&Co glasses stamp was perfect for the little punched hearts courtesy our 'dear' Martha. I used various scraps of pink for those tiny hearts. The love word comes from MME kiss and tell papers (200. The red polka dot paper is an older Daisy 'D'. I matted everything with SU basic black and the lovely, lovely pink is last years In Color. A chipboard "U" covered in Basic Grey's Lemonade pink finishes the design.
The house has been empty this morning, DH is out in his office in our backyard. I've got Yukon Gold potatoes browning on the stove, leftover shredded beef to roll in pitas and I will put this card on his plate. I'm fixin' to call him into lunch. You know they do SAY: the way to a man's heart is through his stomach!
Thanks so very much for having a look and your comments warm my heart! Happy weekend.

Wow, Susan, this is just outstanding. Those glasses overflowing with hearts is just toooo much! You have just the right sentiment to tie all this together. We are all a-twitter that you could join in this week, my friend, and hope to see more where that came from.

Oh Susan, this is so very darling! I love the little hearts on the glasses- after all, they say love is blind, and now I know why! LOL!
Clever, beautifully done! Your DH will be thrilled! (And I'm sure those roasted potatoes and shredded beef won't hurt!)
TFS, and wishing you a very happy, healthy, and creative New Year!

Susan, this is just too cute! I absolutely love the sentiment. Your DH will love this when he comes in for lunch. I'm sure he's already had his lunch and has been giving you kisses for your meal and fabulous card.
I'll be in touch.

And not a staple in sight!! This reminds me so much of a friend's daughter I used to mind when she was little - I'd find her pockets full of tiny little punched hearts because at first it was the only punch she could manage without help. Love that chipboard, too.
Certainly I think the way to my man's heart is through his stomach, although he denies it, LOL. Your meal sure sounds good. Have a great weekend.
