Poster: Paper Junky

I got this Coffee Riley stamp for Christmas--perfect for today's challenge.

This is my first time paper piecing. I think I had the concept a bit skewed. I kind of forgot that the reason you would use paper piecing is so you can use DP for a particular element of the stamp. I ended up stamping the image on numerous solid-colored pieces of paper/CS so I really could have just colored the image and then cut it out. Live, learn and move on!!

My husband loved the card though!

Silly girl, your paper piecing is amazing! You got down pat, that's for sure. There's no hard or fast rules for paper piecing. It's all up to you, and I can see you ran with that idea because this is a darling card!

Sometimes I paper-piece with solids too if it's a large area to cover - I have this stamp too & find I'm never happy with how I colour the chair, so paper-piece it is! Love the sentiment you used too
