I don't know about you but often when I am looking around at some of the frames and giftware that is out in the boutiques lately I find myself thinking 'I could make that' but never seem to - so I decided it was time to have a try and this frame is the result!
I used Layers of Color art stamp sets : http://www.layersofcolor.com/blog/
which are PERFECT for the look I was wanting. I painted a wooden frame that was just sitting in a drawer and then used StazOn and Tim Holtz Distressing inks on it
Once the images were stamped I sponged them with the distressing ink and then to added depths of colour. French script has also been added to the frame with the Distressing Ink.
Once the frame was painted it was actually quicker to make this frame than some of the cards I have made. I was not sure at first how I would go but once I got started I was 'hooked!' I have another frame painted and ready to stamp with different images - I will be doing a tutorial when I do this one....and will let you know when it is happening.
Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments - it is like having visits from friends. I do appreciate you taking the time and your encouragement - thank you! I look forward to hearing what you think of this. You can find me and more photos and details in my Blog: http://lovelylindascraftcentral.blogspot.com/

Linda, no...I have never thought 'I could make that'! Lol- Only you! This is gorgeous. It is simple and 'fancy' all at the same time. Love the neutral colors and beautiful images. Another beauty! Hugs, Blessings, LYMI!!!!
