I wish I had thought through this and realized that when this was all done, it wouldn't stand on its own!! Oh well, live and learn. I wanted to make a quilted Valentine card. I cut out a 4.25 card base and penciled in a grid. I then cut the squares from my favorite Basic Grey paper - Stella Ruby - scraps (yay) and then cut the squares in half diagonally. I glued them on the card and then cut the card with my largest Heart Nestability. After all that work I had to post it - so please excuse the photo - I got the card to stand in a window corner!
Holly - thanks so much for this challenge - it really was fun and opens up so many possibilities - especially for using scraps!

Stella Ruby has always been my fav BG paper group. You have brought out the very best of it with your paper quilted card, Harriet. What a beauty. Happy New Year
