THIS is a FUN technique - I never get to do this challenge but I had to stay home from work today to take me and my trusty golden retriever to the doctor - we both have the flu.....ugh....and Leadership starts day after tomorrow - ugh, z pac for me, ampicillin for Luca, and we are all drugged up and ready to sleep!! Ever hear a big dog cough? How about ever hear a big dog cough all night long? How about ever hear a big dog cough all night long 2 nights in a row?? How about ever hear a big dog cough all night long 2 nights in a row when YOU have the flu???? You get the picture!! Happy New Year!!! They gave him something......it worked. Anyway- I could play today!! I used smaller pieces and this is the dp that was made for the Build a Bear dies, so it's kind of miniature and I thought would work cute. Not my all time favorite colors but the Bears will like it!!! Hope you do too!!

Karen, Your card is adorable. The colors are so well matched. I like the idea of using the embossing for the added dimension. This card is A+.
(I sure hope you are feeling better. It is no fun to be sick. I hope your dear sweet golden is better too.)

Hope Luca and you are feeling better real soon. I just hate when my Rosco dog doesn't feel good.......Now about this card. OMGosh, I just love all the texture going on, including the bg in the photo. This truly looks like an antique quilt. Love it Karen. Again, feel better soon! Give Luca a pat on the head for me. hehe.....TFS :0)

Your quilted card is just beautiful. I absolutely love how you ran it through the embossing folder. It gave it such wonderful texture. That was brilliant! I so hope that you and your puppy are feeling better and that you make it through leadership. TFS

I think your card is wonderful! What I really like is its texture. It's like an old favorite quilt that you have washed and washed and it gets that wonderful puckery, comfy feeling.
Hope you and your furry friend are comfy and on the road to feeling better.

I am glad that whatever the doctor gave you didn't knock you out so you could play along!! This is awesome! Poor pup... must be a miserable fellow after the long nights. Maybe a nap is in store for both of you ;) I love your card!
