Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Paper Quilting.
Now, it's winter in my part of the world...We live in North Florida. And, this week, it's freezing at night! Can you believe it? The water in my pond had ice! (Very thin, but there was ice! I was sooooooo excited!# And...I put on a pair of socks to wear with my flip flops! Needless to say, the cats, Markie, and the neighbors think I'm nuts! #Okay...red fluffy slipper socks under a pair of flip flops do not make "trendy Florida Attire." Besides, who cares what the bag boy thinks at Publix!" LOL
I decided my quilt needed a little spring! And, since my mom and I are currently designing a "In the Tile Quilt," I decided today's paper quilt would mimic our quilt's colors and "tile" look. It was pretty easy, I took a bunch of scraps #6# from my 7 Gypsies paper and put it across the Spellbinder's die. I cut them out and use scissors to cut them down to create smaller pieces. I used double sided tape to put them in place.
The focal image is soon to be released by Mark's Finest papers. It was stamped in Noir. The background was sponged in with Palette Inks. The Ripened Tomato panel was stamped #many times!# in VersaMark with the focal image and embossed with gold.
Finished Card Size: 5" square
Total Time to complete: 47 minutes.

LOL! I love your stories...I love flip flops but not suppose to wear them. I love red stuff, but lately I am not a bit happy with it...turned my white columbia jacket pink. And being in Oklahoma, who would of ever thought of a SNOW BLIZZARD with 10 degrees, like today...
Onto your lovely card. This is gorgeous! What is the "in the Tile Quilt"? Are you creating a quilt design? Love all your cards and your funny stories!
