Toy's challenge today was to create a card using paper quilting. She had excellent instructions for those of us who are not quilters with fabric. There is a lot of design to creating quilts and I am in awe of those of you who create these fabulous works of art! This challenge was a CHALLENGE for me!
Since I still have a lot of valentines to make for my friends & family this year, I decided to "give it a go" in a heart motif. It was fun to create, but I guarantee you I won't be making many of these....unless you quilters can pass along some tricks for mass producing squares! : )
Thanks, Toy......you've started out with a BANG!!

This is gorgeous! Do you have a square punch at all? I have a 1" one that I've sometimes used to create a patchwork look. Once that's done, it's not so hard to cut them diagonally with a sharp knife. Must admit that with my patched hen from the IC on Saturday, I was a bit disappointed that the Whippersnapper squares are just under 1" :-( Another time I'll probably just punch them 1" anyway, with a little margin round the stamping just like you have here.
