I did a field trip to Hallmark to see what kinds of cards they do for wives and sweethearts for Valentine's Day and generally there was texture, ribbon, hearts or roses. So I've been doing some of those for a local candy shop that carries my cards.
Images were stamped with black ink and then I did the crayon resist on the hearts. The card was brayers with a rainbow pad. I punched out a square and added the Kanji symbol for love. The brayered piece was mounted onto whtie cs with the kanji square turned to offset it through the punched opening. I wrapped black ribbon around the card through the square opening. I added eyelets, a bow and some glitter and then layered onto black glossy cs and a folded white glossy card.
