Anne, a/k/a ardodd, was selected FS this week. I saw this beautiful card in her gallery and thought I would change up the color combo, but left the basic layout the same.
I used the SU in color, Melon Mambo, and white with certainly celery sponging. I used the swirls ef instead of the swiss dots, changed the image, used flower soft, but used it in real pink, and used the MS arch lattice border punch rather than the doiley lace that Anne used. Used a polka dot ribbon as Anne did, but changed it to a melon mambo polka dot ribbon. Used spellbinders rectangle and scallop rectangle nesties to frame the image. I added a specialty button on top of my ribbon.
Fantastic card Anne and I so enjoyed casing it from your awesome gallery. ENJOY your week as FS!!!
Thanks so much for taking a look and if you have a chance, let me know what you think!!

Pam, I was just about to click off the gallery for the night and looked down and I knew immediately this was your beautiful card. We cased the same card..I guess you knew that, though. Ooh, that melon mambo is great and I can't wait to place my order. The Flower Soft is such a wonderful addition and the lattice border looks so pretty. You could put your border at the bottom without burning up your card...unlike me. ;) Love your ribbon and the pretty button. Glad you got to play even it was late. I'm sure Anne will be so pleased with this gorgeous card you made to honor her as FS of the week.

ah ha, you must have gotten some flower soft as a CRAK. How funny so many of us selected the same card to case. Guess that must have something to do with how sweet it was. Love your's too, Fruitcake. Must be feeling much better because your card sure suggests a rarity: you actually focused on what you were doing for this challenge. Yikes, that's a major suprise right there. Happy New Year.

Not just pretty but oh sooooo lovely in pink! Love the flower soft, the ribbon treatment and the way you finished the card inside! Wonderful details, Pam!
