Happy New Year everyone! And to Stef, thanks for your awesome challenges each week. The IC is my very favorite.
I chose to use this clock as the basis for my card. I'd love to know what you think.
I don't know about you, but I just love it when I see one of the inspiration pieces and a tiny seed instantly comes to me. It's been so very long since I have created on a consistent basis and I am trying so hard to get back in the groove. However, when I saw the dragonfly on the clock, I just knew I would use the Stampin Up Measure of a Life dragonfly with Ecc 3:1 round the edge. We lost our Jessie this week and I especially needed the reminder of seasons of life. I blogged about it, if you would like to see a pic and read.
Besides the Measure of Time set, I used the fab alarm clock from Stampa Barbara and the faint damask on the white cardstock is from Purple Onion Designs. I used Spring Rain cs (PTI), SU Basic Black, and Basic Grey for the tiny blue under the name tag. The chain is Tim Holtz ideaology, the red arrow 7 Gypsies. I stamped the clock with Brilliance Starlight Silver and embossed with clear. The dragonfly is inked with Memento Tuxedo Black. I used random epoxied letters for her name and the clear tag is also Tim Holtz.
Thanks so much for having a look and your kind, encouraging words and cards to me have warmed my heart and given me inspiration to play again. Hugs!

oh I am so sorry to hear you lost your beloved pet.... I will be back later to go to your blog and learn more.... I love your card Susan and you have not lost your ability to tell a story in the context of an A2 card....
Susan, I love this! The arrow/clock hand pointing at the word 'heaven', the softness of the colors and the clock reminds me that there is a measure of time. I am so sorry about your Jessie, your family has really been tested this year.

Your Jessie was loved. She joins our Max......they will have a great time together! I love your card, especially the RED hand pointing to the PERFECT word. Very clever, and entirely heartwarming, my friend! Hugs.

Gorgeous card. I just went to your blog and read about Jessie. Four years ago we lost our beloved golden retriever 2 days before Christmas so I can TOTALLY relate. He was also a rescue, so we got another one as soon as our hearts could open wide enough to do so. I will keep you in my prayers today.....I still well up with tears when I remember the pain of those last days and the pain of the final goodbye. Hard to believe how much a pet can turn you inside out. Again, LOVELY card!!
