I wanted to get a certain look and don't really know if I really did get it... but I use to love to watch the fireworks in NYC and go to Time Square and watch the ball drop... things of New Years eve that are part of a past time... so this is the sky over NYC and the clock which represents the fact that Time sure does fly... seems like just the other day... and yet it isn't!!!
I made the two background papers, and then realized I could combine yesterdays Sketch Challenge with todays challenge of time... The papers were made by using embossing powders and then painting with H2o's . The Clock paper was made with alcohol inks on glossy paper... and then cut out with my Spellbinders... the clock was stamped on a piece of plastic from a package!!! and then trimmer to fit the clock face of the clock.. Label is from Spellbinders Fancy Tags set.. .(great set... use them for more things than I could have ever thought... )
I have to say that the friends that were over yesterday said that this is not a typical card for me at all... Black backgrounds are not something I am use to using at all... but we have to get out of our boxes... and that is what I did... thanks for the GREAT challenge... and hope that you find this 'interesting'... and Happy New Year... a happy, healthy and loving one every day of this coming year...
Love, Light and Peace.... Bonnie
