This is my sample for the “Bowl Game” challenge. As a fan of Florida State University, I had to make a card depicting the bowl game in which they are playing – the Gator Bowl (FSU vs. West Virginia). I bought this alligator stamp at a stamp show, and I have no idea who makes it. But I thought he’d look very cool lying on the beach. After stamping and masking him, I stamped the palm trees and water around him. My sandy beach isn’t the best – but it will do. Both the palm trees and the sentiment are from Flourishes’ Beach Life set. FSU’s colors are garnet and gold – thus the color choices for the card base and mats.

Oh, Lois, he is just adorable with that sentiment. Looks like you all had fun last night. Sorry I couldn't join you. I haven't been invited to a NYE party in years, and did this year! Did miss getting to stamp though!!!

Oh, love that gator image!! Would look great as a Gator (UF) card, also!! I think I've seen something like this in my yard, too!!! When I do, they can have the yard...I'm not arguing!!! Cool card...thanks for sharing it!!
