Shhhhhhhh! I am hiding! In this cute cabin! Lit only by candles so as not to draw attention...there is a BEAR outside! I am skeered of bears and this one looks HUNGRY! Mutnik was supposed to bring the cake this week for a snack, but silly GIRL...she brought HONEYCAKES! What was she thinking? When she called I said "Honey, bring cake" not "bring honey cakes". I hurled some pieces far from the cabin, so I hope I am the last one in...I AM late and all. I "pity the fool" #channeling Mr. T# that walks in late BEHIND me, because the pathway is just littered with the stuff!

OOOOOH, you meant CAKE not Honey Cakes! My bad. Hearing isn't what it used to be. I get sooo many things confused these days. Kelly, don't worry about that big bad bear lurking outside . Bertie has a basket of pine cones and she's in a flingin mood! heehee Now turn on those lights and let's get this party started! Your card is darling as can be. Your story even better. You sure you didn't mean Cup-Cakes? hmmmm TFS :0)

what a darling scene. love your cabin and your story skeered me. I hate to bake. Cathy is the baker you just have to tell me the story so I can explain it to my little sis. I was asked to bring cornbread to church for the men working on some repairs and I freaked out!!! I spent almost an hour at King Soopers reading all of the boxes of cornmeal and cornbread mix to see what I thought was best!!! No one died and all was eaten so I guess it was a success. Just do not know if my heart could take another experience like that again. Love your cards, Kelly. They are so ME!!!
hugs,

I didn't think Bertie's cabin looked big enough to hold everybody - glad we've got some extra space, all homely and rustic with the candle-glow and background. That honey and cakes sounds like a typical Chinese Whispers...are you sure you spoke directly to Mutnik and didn't pass the message on through someone else. Maybe Anne Ryan??

absolutely adorable..love the pinecones, and the cabin is just adorable..Every time I see a cabin I get homesick for the one we use to have. But I have to agree with Sabrina, about holding everyone? You won't have to worry about my bear, cauze she assured me that she would behave.

Oh, Honey, bring cake...that Mutnik! No doubt Cathy will draw something wonderful to save the day! What an adorable scene Kelly. Your cabin looks quite cozy and I think all of the Tea Partiers will feel quite at home. Love your snow drifts. Your card is so homey and gorgeous!
