I made this card for today's Tuesday Tea Pot challenge hosted this week by Sabrina (Cook2).
Today we are having our tea party in the forest and this ain't no picnic! There are scary bears and other creatures looking to join us! Check out the story here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Well, this big brown bear is searching for the tea party. He doesn't look happy he hasn't found everyone yet. He heard there are going to be yummy treats and even s'mores at the party so he is anxious to get there. Little does he know, we are all hiding in the trees, making sure it's safe to come out. He's really just a sweet bear, though, so we don't need to be afraid!
My bear is a piece of clip art off the internet (no bear stamps here). I stamped the pine boughs with Versamark and embossed with white EP. Kept the rest very simple.
See you all in the forest soon!

Sorry for the delay in getting to see this lovely card - we don't have TV, and DH is watching a new motorbike DVD on my computer .
What great paper that is for a woodsy background, and I love the white pine-cone border on the check. I think yours must be the biggest baddest bear yet - he is reminding me of some of the stories in Little House in the Big Woods. Must be those molasses cookies attracting him. I think you get some of Peggy's extra points for a great masculine card with this one.

He really doesn`t look too scary...maybe tell him to follow his star to find where we are. I brought snickerdoodles so maybe he will smell them. Love the pretty colors you used. Very rustic and earthy. TFS!

Carla your brown bear is gorgeous. Love your brown trees. You and only you would make such an elegant teapot card. This is wonderful. TFS :0)
