Hi there,
Here is my card for the CAS challenge which was to find inspiration from the Disney Store site. Here was the t-shirt that inspired me: http://www.disneystore.com/outerwear...1239769/11864/
The Story.....
I have had this Mickey stamp ever since my mom passed away 3 yrs. ago. Her given name was Catherine but when she was a little girl her uncle came to visit and took her to see her first movie at the theatre..such a treat as their family was pretty poor. After the movie all my mom talked about was 'Mickey' so they affectionately gave her the nickname, Mickey.
Well, that nickname stuck for the rest of her life. Now my mom was not a stamper but bought this, one day when she was with me. She would sign then stamp this Mickey on stationary.
She was such an inspiration, my mom and my best friend. I am missing her desperately right now....So when I saw the challenge I thought it was time to finally use that stamp...it is cute too!
I punched a 2 inch circle then half inch circles for the ears to make a mask. Sponged the ear shape, added Mickey and the sentiment.
Thanks for reading my story, hope you like it and don't forget to hug your mom.
Karen

How cute, that your mother would use the stamp with her signature! I love the fact that you got to use the stamp. I love the Mickey head in the background
