HereÂ’s DawnÂ’s request for the challenge:
Your challenge today is to look through the scraps of the last day or two...and come up with a card using:
1. an image from a greeting card - the snowman
2. a scrap of wrapping paper – the stars tissue paper
3. a ribbon or bow or fixing from a gift – the gold cording from the top of a star
-I found a heavy piece of cardstock and applied mod podge with a sponge brush then laid the tissue paper over it and pressed it down hoping for some wrinkles and got some. This layer was ink distressed with the color tie dye.
-The green layer was embossed with the Cuttlebug and ink distressed.
-The snowman was cut out and glued to the card.
-The small stars were stamped on with my hand cut pencil eraser image.
Tools:
Cutting scissors
1/16” circle punch
Cuttlebug and Candy Stripe embossing folder
sponge
