I've uploaded a few Christmas cards that I couldn't upload before Christmas Day just in case my family saw them beforehand thus spoiling the surprise.
This card also fits the CAS31 Challenge of "Pop it up" ie: using Dimensionals. All my snowflakes are popped up on dimensionals (I call them mounts here in Australia). See this link for the deets: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
The image was coloured with Prismas and Gamsol - super quick because you don't have to colour the snowmen very much - just the hats & scarves. The sky was done using my Kaisercolour chalks. I added Flowersoft Polar White to the hats and a line of Stickles Frosted Lace underneath the snowmen.
After I had coloured the image, I proceeded to do the embossing of the snowflakes underneath the snowmen, but put the folder in my CB upside down so the snowflakes were DE-bossed. Nuts! So, to 'save' my card, I cut that bit of white cs off, and added the strips of green and red cs, then turned that snowflakes embossing bit of cs over so it was the RIGHT way up and re-attached it to the card. I really like how it turned out in the end - a happy accident!!
The snowflakes are the left-overs from my MS Snow Flurry edge punch and I added white pearls to the centres. The ribbon was made in 2 separate elements and I added a strip of white sheer ribbon when I tied the knot just for a bit of interest. There is a Scor-Pal line underneath the ribbon.
Thanks for having a peek at my Happy Accident :-)

This is a great card. You did an awesome job at covering up your boo boo! The name of the stamp set is called "Great Groupings", and it came with 2 other stamps (one with scarecrows and the other with potted topiary trees). It is in the '2000 book from Stampin' Up. = )
