Today's challenge of using a background stamp is really a good one for me... I have a lot of misc things that I have to clean up prior to next week when our son and his girlfriend arrive... and one is to wrap and tag their gifts... so this was one of the projects for today and it fit into todays challenge so perfectly... Thanks Julia!!!!
Okay so on this tag I used the 6X6 inch background stamp by Impression Obsession... I love this and the newest block that they have available to put the stamps onto... it has a handle... and so you can get really good leverage with it... this floral design is great... but how many times have you had a large stamp and get it to print correctly without jumping on it??? LOL.. You know what I mean... anyway.. I did it on glossy paper so it would sparkly and shine..
I made the tag using a Sizzix die... a really old one..
and then put a row of paper, paper lace with a Martha Stewart punch and then some ribbon.. .the flower is an Inkadinkado stamp... and I used Ranger Dimensional pearls in the center... love them too...
Playing with all these 'toys' is such fun... I love playing... the longer the better.. Hope you enjoy this...

Beautiful! Love those stamps and colors together. LOL about the jumping on it! I usually do it the opposite way. Ink a large stamp faceup and then press the paper onto it.
