I think I'd like to post this one in honor of our Northern friends who have recently been showered with record snowfalls ... several states ... many, many SCS'ers. It's actually based on the SC260 sketch for this week, but I've used the sled image as a reference to the joys of childhood, loving those snowfalls! (No ... I only 'slid' on snow "dust" as a girl in OK, but ... I'm sure it's a delight to youngsters with "inches" of snow!)
Here's to happy snow "fun" for everyone up there, and a sweet Merry Christmas to all!

This was an EYECATCHER as soon as I peeked into the gallery this morning!! How warm and rich with so many wonderful details and a sweet nostalgia inspiring story to accompany. Ah yes, having a December birthday and living as a child in a province prone to blizzards... well, you can figure out the rest, but I do remember going to a small ski hill that was adapted for toboggans. It even had a lift that hooked on your sled and towed you back up the hill!!!

What a wonderful, fun card, Bev! I love the colors in the DP, and you carried them into the sled and snowflakes so well. The coloring on your sled is great. Have a very merry Christmas!

Beautiful card~I love it!
I'm in Rhode Island, so I was one of those who got 'showered' with 15 inches of snow! It looks pretty, but I could do without it. I'm more of a Sandy Beach kind of girl ;)
