This is the front of the card. Sentiment is stamped in black in and then cut to fit the center of the large oval paper bookplate. The bookplate is secured with 2 tiny metal brads.
The purple panel is dry embossed in the CuttleBug machine and then dotted with gold Stickles glitter glue. A cream scalloped circle is glued to a larger yellow-orange circle. The purple fan fold flower is glue to the scalloped circles. A paper flower and medium size metal brad were inserted in the flower center.
The inside of this card can be seen in my member gallery or in the Spiral Pop-Up gallery. It contains 85 stamped and cut out candles -- 84 plus 1 to grow on for my grandmother's 84th birthday. About half of the candles are glued to a clear acetate spiral that pops up when the card is opened. The remaining candles are glued around the inside of the card. The flame on the one giant candle is colored in with gold glitter glue.
The scalloped rectangle has a hand-written birthday sentiment and includes a paper flower with a metal brad in the center. Below the center of the spiral is a punched out white circle on which I signed all of our names.
