What a fun project for today!! I spent the morning making Kruppkakor (potato dumplings filled with meat) for Christmas dinner....Swedish, of course! I finished earlier than I thought, so I had time to play with this template.
I HAD to use a RED bird, so I used a wonderful doublesided gray and white dp. I made a ribbon wreath to go around the opening of the house, and the cardinal shows up really well against it. I took a whole bunch of pictures, but had trouble getting one I liked. So be it.

Love that so stylish grey residence you made for your little cardinal.
Know what you mean about the pictures - with that amount of depth, I had to switch to aperture priority to get something half decent.
p.s - I'd love that recipe, sounds even better than the meatballs, which are on my noticeboard to try out over the holidays.
