I just "discovered" Ranger's Distress paint in the clear color...I think it is called Rock Candy. Oh my goodness - I love this stuff! I decided to try it out on this old fashioned-looking Santa image, and I think it made the whole card look very vintage. It was really quite easy to do, and yet I think it is one of my all-time favorite cards that I have ever made.
This card makes me think of being a little girl and waiting with great anticipation for Christmas to finally arrive. It also makes me think of many Christmases-past...all of the fond memories of loved ones who now are no longer with us, of the wonderful scents, and the decorations and festivities...Oh to be a child again!
This is another entry into smARTworks' smART-word challenge...This month the word is: Christmas.

Yes, to be a child again, PA. Christmases past are always the best that's for sure. There's nothing better than being a child at Christmas. I got your pm: I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Hope pain management clinic provides your mom with some great pain refief suggestions. Hang in there. Life is never easy, is it? Merry Christmas, my friend. Hugs from Murphy, too.
