I chose to make an angel like the ones on the table. Even though the angels on the table were made with paper plates, mine was made with the Big Shot Circle Scallop die. I had a lot of fun making this angel and kept laughing "only if...". The picture is that of my 7yr old daughter - who is anything BUT an angel!! I can still hope......
I first cut out a scallop circle with my Big Shot and Circle Scallop die. After that, I cut it and twisted it to form the body. After I forced to sit the way I wanted it to, I untwisted it and ran the top half (which are the wings) through the Big Shot again with the Petals-A-Plenty Embossing folder. I then took a sponge dauber and the Frost White Shimmer Paint and went over the flowers. I twisted the body back together and kept it in place with mini glue dots. I cut out the picture and fit it then adhered it onto the body. The halo was made with the small and large oval punches, sticky page and champagne fine glitter. I used my Crop-a-Dile and punched the holes at the bottom in the scallops. I then cut slits in the sides and added arms (word window punch) and then punched out the Merry Christmas saying. I stuck that on with mini glue dots.
This project came out much better than I had imagined it to - isn't it exciting when that happens?!?
I do have to say that you have to show the card stock who's the boss. The more you curl it, twist it and tug on it, the better behaved it becomes. :)
