Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Moss, Saffron, and Melon.
Now, I'm not a demo and got rid of all that "stuff!" So, I had to "make" my colors today. The leaf and butterfly were stamped in Palette Noir. I sponged Paris Lights in the center areas of the butterfly. This is not even close to Saffron, but when I sponged on some Raw Sienna, I got a CLOSE match. Next, I sponged Bella Rose around the edges. This was close to Mambo Melon. However, when I sponged in a bit Voilete, it was REALLY close! I cut out the image and popped it with a glue dot. The leaf was sponged with Landscape, and then I took an aqua painter and used it to lightened the color. I blotted the water and I think this is close to Moss. I cut out the leaf and popped it with a glue dot.
The sentiment and row of leaves at the bottom are rub-ons. The leaf charm was "darkend" by rubbing the Noir pad over it and using a heat tool to set the ink.
Finished size: 5 1/2" square
Total Time to complete: 27 minutes...(Markie got contacts on Sunday. I had to play "coach" for a few minutes while he fussed over getting them back in!)
