I enjoyed looking through Pam's gallery and chose a layout I really liked, though I changed it to a floral. We have 8 Jan. birthdays, only 2 of which are male, so flowers won out! I made the polished stone BG with the stamp in mind, so I tried to create a couple of regal rose areas for the flowers and surround them with celery for the leaves. I cut the piece with the Nestabilities Labels 2 die, using the out of the box technique and layered it with a piece of Papertrey's smokey shadow cardstock. Tres Chic is stamped in celery on the celery panel, but I wanted it to have a softer look, so I layered a piece of vellum paper over it. The card base is regal rose and I added some Kaiser pearls to the corners and a two-toned sheer ribbon. Here's the link to Pam's card. Your polished stone technique is fabulous here, Sue! And of course, that ribbon is so perfect with the image/color. Oh, this is so your style and so wonderfully cased, too.
