First, I'd like to say, I found this a very difficult challenge. I couldn't find 12" solid color paper, had to refigure my measurements. That lead to a crying fit and a MOUND of tri-shutter cards in my "cards that can never be salvaged" pile.
So, I had to bite down and use a FULL sheet of Wonderful Watercolor paper. I do NOT suggest this!!! GET some 12"x12" paper to make a tri-shutter card, don't fuss. Don't use HEAVY paper! Or, you'll have to HAND cut it like I did! OMGosh! What a DRAMA!!!
This big guy was stamped in Burnt Umber and colored with Copics. Next, I sponged on Burnt Umber to “soften” him a bit. I used some charms for interet and tiles for the sentiment.

Faith, your card is STUPENDOUS!!!.
I love this owl image and the sentiment a is wonderful fit for it.
I love the wonderful earthy colors, the depth the sponging gives, those gorgeous charm medalions that you made and the emblishments are just right..WOW!!

Your card turned out spectacular!
My first Tri-Shutter took me hours, ...but not because of the cutting, ... but because I obsessed over what embellies to add the panels. I love the charms you used!
