What a fun and very easy little tag bag/box today. I made mine out of a grocery bag and the tag too, since I didn't have any. But I bet I find I have some after I post this. That usually happens. hehe......details....
Guess, what? It snowed in Sacramento last night. We got about 1 inch. It sure was pretty, but melted rather quickly. Tonight we are to get into the 20's. Too cold for pool cleaning!
When I got home from work today, I saw that the neighbors had made a snowman. NOT a huge snowman, but this teeny tiny snowman. I went and got my camera to take a picture. How funny. It was about 10" tall with a pine cone hat. I thought I could put some snowman building supplies in my tag bag and give it to them in case we get more snow. hehe.... very small supplies at that!
Cut my bag out of a Safeway grocery sack, also put some of the bag on white cs for the tag part.
On one of the tags, I stamped and clear ep the penguin. Colored him with acrylic paints, then splattered him with white paint for the "blizzard" look.
Added the tag with the "4 -U" stickers plus a ribbon closer. That's pretty much how it went. Thanks for taking a look!.....:0)
Hi Sis! I'll be sending you pictures real soon.

How fun, your neighbors will love this...I've never seen a 10" snowman, here we usually have enough snow to get extremely sick of it but I bet it was a real treat where you are. love the recycling by using the grocery sack..

Oh Mutnik, I love your little blizzard scene and happy penguin. Your spattered snow is so perfect, I love it. (Like Dawn, I think mine would be less of a spatter and more of a blob. ) It's about the type of snow we get here - when we get any. Love the idea of a bag of snowman supplies - and I'd have loved to see that little ten-incher.

Oh how sweet!! He looks so cute in the blizzard scene you've created! How funny that you've had snow in Sacramento and we've yet to have any in Hamilton (Ontario). Although they say a storm is a brewin' tonight coming in from Chicago way, so we'll see! I don't know that I've ever seen a 10 inch snowman - too cute!! Your neighbours will love this little treat for your next 'snowstorm'! Well done Cathy!
