The CAS this week was to use brown, white and red. I so loved RobinRingtail's idea of a fireplace during the White Christmas LSC249, I had to design one, too. Only this one had to have Santa coming down. I wanted to eventually use my "wood" paper from SU -- thought this would be a perfect time. . . along with the Christmas DP. I used the crimper to imitate what Robin had done the the background. I used YuleTime Christmas for the stockings and the greeting. Of course, Cuttlebug embossing folders for the texture. The background paper was by "Coredinations" called Whitewash collection. And, yes, the boots are dark brown card stock that I colored with Copid Burnt Amber to get it as dark as I could -- almost black and still be brown.
