This is like the spinner that was demonstrated at convention. You twist up the little snowflake circle the put the card in an envelope. When the recipient opens the card, the snowflake begins to spin and unwind.

Is it fishing line that makes it spin? Does anyone know the official name of these cards so that I can search it? When I search spinners I end up with the penny spinners that roll, not this type of spinner.....
P.S. I really like the design of your card - it's beautiful! Very cool looking tag!

For the "string" I used to make it spin - I just used metallic cording. The snowflake charm circle is backed by another snowflake charm circle - so when it spins - the viewer gets the same image on both sides. (I could have put a saying on the other side as well.) When you "sandwich" the two circles, you put the metallic cording between the two circles, anchoring it well. (I used sticky tape.) Then the other ends of the metallic cording are taped between the Bashful Blue and the Elegant Eggplant. The key is to get the metallic cording straight and very tight. The before you put the card in an envelope, you wind up the circle by turning it around and around then close it up. When the recipient opens the card, it spins. I received a "spinner" card from a friend and she used the linen thread and that worked well too.
