I won't start with you..... but I bet that Anne Ryan will! She's such a pain! What's the chance's she'll have a cheater card in the IC?????? 110 % Yup, that's right!
Now as for your card, it's just delightful! Love the gold embossing in the background!!! The butterfly is just gorgeous!!!
When you live in the warm , sunny, nearly tropical Pacific Northwest, where we are surrounded by so many exotic species of butterflies all year round, of course we enjoy celebrating the butterfly!!! Gorgeous work.
shhhhhhh let's make Anne Ryan jealous of our weather ... ;)

You're here early - and with such a beauty. I love the simple vellum panel with the brads, and the lovely blue and gold colours. It's so soft and pretty to see on a grey, and now rainy, day!

How beautiful! Yes, I suppose when you live a year-round tropical clime, you seen nothing other than butterflys. You've captured the essence of your climate inhabitants beautifully, Divine Ms. M. It's really too bad though: Cap'n Canada doesnt realize in order for butterflys to sustain life and to be able to fly in your tropical climate, they need sunlight! Yup, they do. I trust you know this but I know Cap'n Canada doesnt: butterflys rely on the sun's energy for them to promulgate the beauty of a tropical climate .... not a monsoon climate like the two of you reside in. Just as important, is the reality butterflys require floral nectar as their food. Hmm, your card is just outstanding, Divine Ms. M, but I think we all need to gather round our little Cap'n Canada to give her some lessons on nature!

Now that I've provided Cap'n Canada with her geography lesson of the day, I can come back to focus on the sheer artistic persuasion of your gorgeous card. No, no surprise you've used a butterfly! You can only fool me so long, you know. The vellum adds striking contrast for your beautiful image.
