I created 8 of these cards. 4 I created without the bow at the bottom because I forgot that I wanted a bow there and I sent them out to friends and family before I took a picture of them. So, I decided to try again and I made another 4 of them, but this time I added the bow and took pictures! I borrowed the sketch from an old DRS post from August 29, 2008 by Jennifer E. and this meets the criteria of a Winter/Christmas theme for the Clearly Inspired Challenge at Clear Dollar Stamps and with the Creative Card Crew. I started by stamping the background. This was created by taking all of the snowflake stamps from the Martha Stewart Clear Gingerbread Stamps set and arranging them randomly on an acrylic block, then I stamped them with Versamark ink and glittery white embossing powder. Then I stamped my focal image in baby blue ink and glittery clear embossing powder on an oval. I also ran the edges of the oval through the blue ink to give them more definition and character. To assemble the card, I attached the blue background paper to a white card base. Then I tore a rectangular piece of vellum, attached it to the blue paper, and added pearls in each corner to cover the adhesive. Lastly, I attached the ribbon and focal image. Even though there were lots of steps, it was surprisingly quick to make these cards!
