This is for FS147. Congratulations, MrsBoz. Here is the card that inspired my project for today. Peace of God by MrsBoz at Splitcoaststampers I love the Lovely as a tree set so I took Caroll Anne's tree theme and changed the color combination and layout but keeping the same peaceful tone of the tree.
I used a dry brush that I wiped directly on the ink pad to add color to the stamped image. For best results heat dry your image first so the ink doesn't blurr. The dry brush with ink gathered directly from the pad allows the brush to stay dry enough not to smudge the image ink. I used a dry brush to add brown to the trunk and limbs of the trees as well. I dotted white craft ink on the tree and created falling snow and then embossed with white ep. The yellow background was added with a sponge. If you would like instructions on my multi loop bow check out my bow tying tutorial on my blog. http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kitti...tutorials.html

Love your snow on the tree and that ribbon is so pretty - looks like a package the way you did it. The edges on your frame are super cool too. Wonderful job!

I soooo love what you did with this image! And thanks for the instructions because now I have to try it. The coloring is amazing and makes the tree look soooo real! TFS!
